It is basically a very sustainable superfood. When made at home it does not require refrigeration and can last for a very long time.
Here is what we did with our Grass Fed Jerky Chews to turn them into Pemmican.
Step 1: Grind the jerky in food processor
2. Step 2: equal amount of Beef Tallow
Equal amount of tallow rendered until sizzling
Step 3: Mix grinded jerky in the pan no photo. ....
Step 4: Pour into muffin cups. Let cool. I put in freezer for few min.
It was very filling!
